Ludwig is a standalone chat advisor with the temperament of a senior ISMS consultant. Ask anything about standards, controls, risks, audits, or the platform itself, and Ludwig answers against your instance's live data — not generic web content.
- Context-aware advice: "what's our audit readiness?", "which assets still lack a control implementation?"
- Action proposals: Ludwig can suggest creating a risk, linking an asset, or marking a control implemented. Every action requires your approval before it runs.
- Politely refuses out-of-scope questions.
- Three provider modes: bring your own key (Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, Azure OpenAI — inference cost on your account), bring your own self-hosted endpoint (Ollama, vLLM, or any in-house LLM — for air-gapped deployments where no prompt leaves the network), or RaulWalter-supplied AI key for customers who want everything on one invoice.
- Per-instance toggle. Off by default until an administrator turns it on.
Ludwig requires the AI Assistant module — it builds on the same AI plumbing (provider key, prompt budget, audit log of every AI call). The configurator and the Ultimate bundle add AI Assistant automatically when you pick Ludwig.
An optional add-on, Ludwig DPO — Data Protection Assistant, gives Ludwig a second profession: answering GDPR and national data-protection law questions from a verbatim legal corpus, with act and § citations. Sold as its own module; Estonia is the first national pack.
