Cybsis sends a steady drumbeat of transactional and notification email — task assignments, due-date reminders, incident creation, escalations, password resets, license-expiry warnings, backup failures, the welcome flow for new accounts.
You pick the delivery channel:
- SMTP — any mail server, including your existing Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace / on-prem Exchange relay
- Resend — managed API with deliverability built in, recommended when you don't have an internal SMTP path
Settings live under Administration → Email Settings: from-address, display name, reply-to, provider credentials (stored encrypted). Notification preferences are per-user — every recipient can opt out of non-essential notification types. HTML templates carry the Cybsis branding and are localised in the recipient's preferred language.
